Paper as Palette (ADULTS)

Create collages while using unique and interesting materials. Experiment with different papers, techniques and ideas to create innovative collages. Color theory, composition, texture, shape and line will be our focus while using paper as a tool to achieve finished pieces of work. To the first class bring watercolor paper 16x20 and any decorative papers you may have. Materials fee $10..00 payable to the teacher.

Experimental Watermedia (ADULTS)

Unleash a sense of adventure and embolden your art! Loosen up using the versatility of acrylics as well as innovative mixed media and collage techniques. Experience creative breakthroughs in your art and learn how to achieve bolder, more dramatic results using hues that are vibrant, energetic and contemporary. Discover new ways to develop your own personal style whether realistic, abstract, or impressionistic, while having lots of fun doing it. All levels - some painting experience helpful.

Drawing Fun

Learn about the basic elements of drawing, including line, form, color, space, texture and value. We will have fun using a variety of drawing materials; charcoal, pastel, pencil and ink, to name a few.

Portfolio Workshop
Ages 12 & Up

This class provides an opportunity for students needing to work on portfolio pieces. In this class we will focus on individual student goals and interests , emphasizing investigation and self discovery. Students are welcome to begin a portfolio or work on an existing body of work, Projects will be individually tailored for each students’ needs.
